London, my Dream
I have a friend who told me to
go to Germany with him but I haven't made up my mind yet if
I want to go there. I've heard a lot of things about that country
and the people living there. However my dream is to go to London.
So, I have decided to go to
England. I have already made a reservation for a hotel in
the centre of London. When I'm there I want to see the sights
of the city and visit as many places as I can. In the morning
I will have an English breakfast in the hotel and in the afternoon
I will drink tea at five o'clock. If I have time, I will go to
Madam Tussaud's, the Globe Theatre, the National Gallery and the
British Museum. I also want to go shopping on Oxford Street
and take a walk in Hyde Park. I will travel on a double-decker,
that red bus which is a typical sight of the streets of London.
In the evening I want to go to
a pub to drink beer and enjoy the atmosphere of the place and
listen to the people talking to each other. I hope I can
understand them. I would like to make friends there and then go
out to Soho to have some fun.
I'm looking forward to arriving
at Heathrow Airport by plane and taking the underground to the
centre of the city of my dreams.
